Happy Birthday, Lover!

I’ve been warned (multiple times) not to post this picture. Still, I’m sharing my most favorite pic of our Dec 2016 Japan trip while bearing in mind that I will need to soothe the subject later. 😝

On our 1st wedding anniversary, I gave you a letter which we intentionally kept private. But since today is your birthday, I wanna share to our family and friends how awesome you are as a husband. I love you forever, Ealden! I thank God (and Mama Lorna + Papa Esto) that 30++ years ago today, you were born so that I can spend my eternity with you. ❤️😘

Being married to you means…

• I consistently get warm hugs and sweet kisses when I come home from work.
• I have an arm to squeeze during flight takeoff. And a hand to hold during landing.
• I have to manage my time wisely so that our laundry doesn’t pile up and our house is always clean.
• I wake up grumpy from too many “time to wake up!” but will eventually be giddy from “good morning, love!”
• I have someone who drinks all my coffee experiments and always says “tastes good!”
• I choose you over reading a book at night because you intentionally put your arm around me so I won’t be able to flip a page.
• All my gadgets are fully charged in the morning.
• I can’t be lazy. Because you’re too damn hardworking.
• I would always feel good after an hour of ranting. Because you listen to each and every word. Because you tell me when I’m wrong — no sugarcoating at all!
• I always have an iMessage.
• I have someone to share a really good laugh. A genuine one.
• I should thoroughly plan our itineraries because you believe I’m really good at finding new and interesting places. PRESSURE!
• I have a husband to pamper like I have a baby to take care.
• Someone would cook me an insanely yummy steak for no occasion at all.
• Life is never perfect but with you, it’s always better.
• I can be who I am. And more.
• I will love someone more than love allowed.
